On October 29, 1997, the mission opened Clinica Medica, a primary care clinic in Jinotega, Nicaragua with a doctor, dentist, optometrist, nurse and pharmacy. The mission’s Medical Outreach now includes the medical clinics, mobile medical day clinics, Medical Brigades are held in cooperation with Olive Branch Ministries and other medical mission team, support to seven Casa Maternas (a place for ladies from the mountains to be close to medical care for the birth of their child), supplies to local nursing home, and working closing the local Ministry of Health. Mobile medical clinics and medical brigades provide medical treatment to the people in the Jinotega & Matagalpa Departments and along the Rio Coco who have limited access to medical care.
