Thanks to all for your prayers and support to help us to respond to the continuing problems in Nicaragua from the rain. The problems are not just in Nicaragua. The problems are from Mexico to Nicaragua. And the rains continue.
The front page of the La Prensa on-line copy on 29 September listed eight articles about the rain and flooding. Three articles write of water levels compared to those of Hurricane Mitch. Two very concerning articles to us were plans to open the flood gates of Lake Apanas and that of the historical levels of the Rio Coco. The greatest concern of all is that the weather predictions are for the rain to continue.
When the weather breaks and it is possible, some of our team will be going to Moncotal to visit a community that Renaldo, the preacher at Yankee, has found that needs immediate help. We are
